Cristina Martinez is an actuarial professional with more than 12 years’ experience in Management and Business. Proficiency in Risk and Insurance Management with a robust analytical and technical base and proven willingness to learn and lead international projects. Used to work in the aviation sector for Iberia Airlines as a Risk Manager, after 11 years she took over Corporate Risk Management at Campofrio Food Group Holding, an EU leading processed meat multinational company. Her responsibilities include the definition and implementation of the overall risk and insurance management strategy across the group in eight European countries (Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, Italy, The Netherlands, Germany and Rumania). Also, this position includes defining a positive risk-culture towards the business strategy objectives by leading an international network of local risk managers in support of the Corporate Risk Manager’s function.
She is member of the FERMA Board of Directors since 2008 and leads projects such as FERMA Benchmarking Survey. She also is founder of a the Spanish Risk Management Association (IGREA).
